Dr. Dipty L. Jain has teaching experience in Medical Profession in the field of Pediatrics for 35 years. She has worked at GMC Nagpur, IGGMC Nagpur, GMC Akola and is currently working as Professor and Head at GMC Nagpur. She is a recognized Post Graduate Guide and is an expert in teaching Medical education technology and research methodology. She is the Nodal Person for Sickle Cell Project at GMC, Nagpur and has conducted many path breaking researches on the disease. She has been a consultant for WHO (UIP), USAID (Domestic Violence against Women and Children), ICMR and Government of India (Policy on Sickle Cell Disease). She has been the President for Indian Academy of Pediatrics (2008-2009). She has attended many Workshops, CMEs, Symposia and conferences and has published articles in more than 60 Indexed National and International Journals. She is also a Member of Staff Selection Committee at MUHS, Nashik and a member of PRG i.e. pediatric research group of ICMR. She has a keen interest in research and is currently executing Sickle Cell Mission Mode Project under CSIR Govt. of India.
