Dr Sanjaykumar G. Tambe  has full-time teaching experience of 22 years post-MD including 20 years of postgraduate teaching and have facilitated several trainings in safe motherhood, advanced surgical procedures and comprehensive abortion care. He has contributed in the landmark clinical trial in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University, USA for preventing mother to child transmission of HIV which has contributed to the National as well as International policies. He has undertaken several research studies in the field of Gynecology & obstetrics including ICMR supported injectable and subdermal implants for contraception with several publications in National and International journals.
